Step 1. Drawing Draft
First, we should use a 2B pencil to draw a draft of your drawing according to your reference picture in your sketch book. Remeber to draw it softly. The refill of 2B pencil is soft and the lines can be easy to erase, so we recommand you to use for drawing draft. While drawing, you may realise some lines are thick and make the drawing look like weired. We can make the character become normal after filling the color.
P.S. Before using the eraser, please make sure your eraser is in white color. If there are some black color dirt, you must clear the dirt. If not, your paper wil have some black dirt that cannot be remove after using the eraser.
Step 2 . Filling Color
After drawing the draft, you have to fill pencil color on your draft. That can make your drawing become nice and wonderful. Our artist have been tried in such drawing and the drawing looks perfect.
So, what color should we fill? We only have black, white and grey colors! However, some colors can be deep and some color can be light. Also, we will draw some drop shadows on the drawing. You don't have to be worried that the drawing are filling with boring colors.
For deep colors, we can use B to 6B pencils to fill. For light color, H to 4H are the suitable pencils.
Step 3. Filling shadows, highlights and drop shadow, and final
You will find that the drawing is not wonderful enough after filling color. To make the drawing a bit realistic and nice, you should use your sketching pencils to fill shadows, highlights and drop shadows. Let's talk about how to draw highlights! Highlights usually appears on hair or something reflective. We can use rubber to make highlight. What we need to do is using the rubber to erase the hair softly. Some highlights appear on the skin and face of the character. We should not keep it white. So, let's draw some light gray with a 2H or 3H pencil. For shadow, it depends on your own mind, you can draw it from HB to 3B. For drop shadows, use 4B to 6B to draw since they can draw darker colors.
Finally, put your signiture on top of your drawing. That can make people have good impression on you. If your signiture is not good, you can sign it on the back, at least it proves that the drawing belongs to you.
